Jo was always at the centre of wonderful things, be it organising social functions for university or making a big fuss of special occasions. Therefore, Jo’s husband, Chris, wanted to organise an impressive function in her memory. It aimed to be a grand affair with all the things she loved; glitz, glamour and most importantly her family and friends.

When Chris discussed this with a group of Jo’s nearest and dearest a seed was planted. That small idea snowballed into the establishment of the Joanne Tubb Foundation. The primary aim being to celebrate the knowledge and skills Jo used to enhance so many children’s lives.

It was therefore agreed that the board would work towards generating funds to assist health professionals working with children (for example, awarding annual scholarships to undergraduate and/or post graduate students specialising in paediatric physiotherapy) and to increase awareness of the need for specialised physiotherapy input.

As for the rest of the story………..the best is yet to come.
